Join us At the Kitchen for the first of our planned events with top Indian chef Kapil Uppal. Like many top chefs, Kapil learnt the basics of his trade from watching his mother cook their family meals. His professional career began in hotels and restaurants in Mumbai before he moved to the UK where he now spends his days developing recipes for many well-known food brands . Based in Cheadle Hulme, we are delighted that he is joining forces with At the Kitchen to share his knowledge, experience and recipes.
For the first event – a tasting night – Kapil will prepare some of his favourite dishes and share his expert cooking tips, while guests get to enjoy his delicious food and an evening of informal chat.
Keep an eye out for future events with Kapil which will include workshops and cookery courses.

Chicken Tikka– succulent chicken thighs cooked in aromatic north Indian spices with spicy pineapple and mango chutney.
Fish Amritsari– cod cooked in a spicy crispy aromatic batter with coriander and pomegranate mooli salad.
Hara Bara Kebab– shallow fried spicy vegetable dumplings with spicy mango slaw.
Beef Madras– diced beef cooked in fragrant curry leaves, mustard seeds and chilli.
Lamb Rogan Josh –lamb chops cooked in Kashmiri spices.
Daal Tadka– lentils cooked with turmeric, ginger, garlic and aromatic Indian spices.
