Asian Cooking Inspiration Evening




Thursday February 13th   7pm – 9.30pm



We are absolutely delighted to have chef Jessica Sharp with us for an introduction evening to the flavours of the Far East. Jess will take us on a whistle stop tour exploring the flavours of Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan and China showing how to balance the delicate aromas and strong flavours of the ingredients used in these countries incorporating elements of spicy, sweet, salty and sour.


Jess is a chef born in Vietnam and now living locally in Cheadle Hulme. She ran her own successful business for 5 years which included teaching her tried and tested Asian recipes before moving into the corporate world as development chef for the famous Asian food brand Blue Dragon. This role enabled her to travel all over the world cooking, tasting, demonstrating and creating recipes thus developing an incredible knowledge of all things Asian flavours. This knowledge was then used to develop lots of the familiar  Asian products you will find in the supermarkets.


You will be greeted with a drink on arrival and then Jess will go on to demonstrate the following menu

Indonesian Gado Gado Salad

Classic Thai Som Tum Papaya Salad

Japaneses Goya Dumplings

Vietnamese spring rolls

Chinese Boa Buns


You will get to taste all the dishes and take home the recipes. It will be a relaxed and fascinating evening and a great opportunity to ask all your cooking questions to Jess.
